New Triumvirat - The Hymn

 

 

카시뇰의 그림들이 동기가 되어 '아름다울만큼만 슬픈' 이라는 화두로 하루를 보내다 보니 괜히 감성에 빠져들고 있는 저녁입니다. 생각이 생각을 낳다보니 어느덧 트리움비라까지 왔습니다.

돌이켜 생각해보니 독일의 아트락 그룹 트리움비라의 폼페이 명반을 안 올려두었네요.

출장 다녀온 후 올리도록하고 예전에 이들의 폼페이를 다시 들으며 끄적거렸던 생각 하나 나눕니다.

평화로운 산들바람이 바다에서 불어와
태양과 함께 완벽한 조화를 이루고.
지나는 외로운 구름이 그 노래를 듣고
천천히 따라부릅니다.
...

미풍과 태양이 만나자,
그 모든 것이 조화속에 있다는 것을 깨달았습니다.
...

곧 그 소리는 커졌고
멜로디는 병을 치유하기도 했습니다.
크고작은 모든 창조물들은 이 노래를 들었고
비록 가사는 몰랐으나 그들은 노래할수 있었습니다

아름답지만 아픔을 잘 담은 'The Hymn'
폼페이 최후의 날,

 

곡을 듣는 내내 그날의 처음과 끝의 모든 잔상이 스펙트럼처럼 머리속을 음표 따라 흐른다.

인간의 슬픔은 아프기만 한 것이 아니라 아름답기도 한 것이다...

Sometimes a melody can heal disease
All creatures great and small had heard about the hymn
They didn't know the words, but they knew how to sing
